The banjo was one of the most popular instruments in 19th century America. It was my dream to record a banjo CD with tunes that were either popular in 19th century America or were imported before this time and reflect the Celtic influence of American fiddle tunes. And I wanted the sweet voice of my first good banjo (Gibson RB250) to sing out to make the tunes beautiful & simple enough to entice the listener to listen again. That was 17 years ago & folks still write me to say they are still listening :)
